Sporting Kansas City boss Peter Vermes has denied claims that midfielder Uri Rosell is set to join Sporting Lisbon.
Rumours this week have suggested that the 21-year old Spaniard is set to head back to Europe after spending the past two years in Kansas City.
But Vermes has played down the speculation by stating that the reigning MLS champions are not looking to offload any of their players at this stage of the 2014 season.
“I can tell you that I've had I don't know how many offers on players over the course of the last six months,” Vermes told reporters following his side’s 2-1 home loss to Philadelphia Union on Wednesday night.
“And I could go on and on and on. Whether its offers outside the country, or whether it's offers from other (MLS) teams for players on our team. And those rumours can be on a regular basis.
“Do teams make offers on guys? They do it all the time. But we're not selling anybody right now, and nothing's happening right now.”
