SJK accept Liverpool whiz Allan unlikely to extend stay

Finland's SJK are delighted with the impact on-loan Liverpool midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza has made this season.

The Brazilian joined the Reds over the summer from Internacional and was immediately sent on-loan to Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho.

The midfielder settled instantly, becoming a first-choice for coach Simo Valakari and getting amongst the goals for his new club.

SJK press officer Lari Paski told tribalfootball.com: "We are extremely happy with how Allan has settled in, he has shown maturity beyond his years both on and off the field and has handled the responsibility and pressure that comes with playing in high pressure games with ease.

"He is a real big talent."

The Finnish season concludes later this month and SJK management concede extending Allan's loan into next season is unlikely.

Paski adds: "We have to be realistic and we can't see this being extended any further, Allan has shown he can play at this level and he has the capability to play much higher, for his own development he should take the next step, where that is, Liverpool must decide..."
