Juventus have lost midfielder Momo Sissoko for the season after fracturing a metatarsal in Saturday night's victory over Torino.
The 24-year-old suffered the injury when he came off the bench for the final six minutes of the Serie A game and, although the precise length of his layoff has yet to be revealed, Sissoko is not expected to return to action this campaign.
"Last night, during the league game against Torino, the footballer Mohamed Sissoko suffered an injury to his left foot which caused a fracture to his metatarsal," read a statement on the club website, juventus.com.
"X-rays after the game showed that the fracture is to the fifth metatarsal and is a compound one.
"The treatment and recovery period will be evaluated in the next few days."
