Moussa Sissoko is proud to be Newcastle United captain in Fabricio Coloccini's absence.
He's vowed to lead from the front as the Magpies bid to avenge their recent setbacks.
"I am very happy to be captain with Colo out," he said.
"I know it is a big responsibility but I think against Arsenal I showed why the manager chose me.
"Of course, I was sad that we lost but I thought the whole team showed great character after being 2-0 down at half-time."
