Sir Alex Ferguson is back in front of his desk at Manchester United this morning. The Daily Mail says the 71-year-old is preparing to bow out in front of the Old Trafford crowd on Sunday after United's game against Swansea, when they will be presented with the Barclays Premier League trophy, the 13th of Ferguson's illustrious career.
Ferguson arrived for work as usual on Wednesday morning as he was seen driving into United's Carrington training base at 6.50am.
As of Tuesday night, no statement over Ferguson's future had been issued by United. In fact officials at Old Trafford were not even taking calls from journalists amid a frenzy of speculation over their manager's future.
