The Chinese company in takeover talks with AC Milan expect the deal to be completed before the end of the year.

Sino-Europe Sports have confirmed they're putting together funds to meet Milan's valuation.

A spokesperson told Bloomberg: "We are in the final stages of acquisition and we have provided information about the project to the existing financial partners and the other parties concerned.

"This is all part of the closure process which will be completed later this year.

"The acquisition of the funds will be fully in place at the same time."
