Singapore national coach Radojko Avramovic is looking forward to the challenge of facing Premier League giants Liverpool in July. The Reds have a scheduled tour of the Far East ahead of the next domestic season comprising of two games, one in Bangkok against Thailand on July 22 and the other against Singapore four days later.

Avramovic said it will be a great honour to welcome such a great club to Singapore.

"It is a great honour to play against one of the best clubs in the world," said Avramovic.

"It presents a grand opportunity for the local lads to be playing against Liverpool. It is really something special.

"The chance of being selected for the game is still open. I will only select the best players and those who want to give their best," he added.
