Swansea City face delays over Scott Sinclair's new contract.
Sinclair, 23, will speak to Swansea officials after playing for Team GB at the Olympics.
He said: "When I get back to Swansea, after the Games, I'll speak to him and we'll have talks then."
Chairman Huw Jenkins has insisted the Swans will not risk losing the £5m-rated winger on a free transfer.
And Laudrup said: "Of course, I would like Scott to stay. But I imagine we will have to wait until he's back."
