Simpson "over the moon" about Man Utd breakthrough

Danny Simpson admits he's "over the moon" with his first team chances at Manchester United this season.

The fullback told manutd.com: "I'm over the moon. I came back from Sunderland at the end of last season and the manager said to me in the summer that I'd be involved in the first-team. But I never expected to be getting Champions League experience. It's an unbelievable feeling.

"It's great, it's a dream come true. Everyone is really nice to me as well. I was out putting petrol in my car the other day and somebody came up to me and said, 'I think you're doing really well, keep it up'. It's a nice feeling because I've supported United all my life. I'm really enjoying it at the moment and the team is doing well - things couldn't be better."
