Simpson "over the moon" about Man Utd breakthrough

Danny Simpson admits he's "over the moon" with his first team chances at Manchester United this season.

The fullback told "I'm over the moon. I came back from Sunderland at the end of last season and the manager said to me in the summer that I'd be involved in the first-team. But I never expected to be getting Champions League experience. It's an unbelievable feeling.

"It's great, it's a dream come true. Everyone is really nice to me as well. I was out putting petrol in my car the other day and somebody came up to me and said, 'I think you're doing really well, keep it up'. It's a nice feeling because I've supported United all my life. I'm really enjoying it at the moment and the team is doing well - things couldn't be better."
