Jay Simpson wants a future at Arsenal.

The Mirror says Arsenal are keen to sign QPR wonderkid Raheem Sterling - but Simpson is reluctant to be part of a player-plus-cash deal.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to buy England youngster Sterling, 15, in January.

The teenager is yet to make his professional debut for ChampionshipRangers.

But he has become one of the hottest properties in British football and Arsenal youth director Liam Brady has been told to sign him up.

Gunners striker Simpson, 21, is on loan for the season at QPR, where he has scored eight goals already this term.

But the forward is hesitant to be part of a transfer as he does not want to decide on his long-term future until next summer.
