QPR fullback Danny Simpson is backing their move for ex-Newcastle United teammate Steven Taylor.

Taylor is being linked with a January loan move to QPR.

Simpson told the Fulham Chronicle: "I do know Steven, and he's a top lad, and we had a good relationship when I was at Newcastle so if I'm asked what I think (by the management) I can't speak too highly of him."
