Newcastle United assistant Paul Simpson says the team will not go away from their new-found mindset.
Steve McClaren has introduced an attacking game plan at St James' Park since his arrival and after drawing 2-2 with
Southampton in their Premier League season opener on the weekend, the Magpies will kick on with the same approach as they make the trip to Swansea City.
"We have some very, very talented players," Simpson told the Chronicle.
"The philosophy will be to play football.
"We don't want to take stupid risks. But we also want to attack.
"When we get into the final third we don't want to be just pretty, tappy football."
