Simply Red front man Mick Hucknall is backing his beloved Manchester United to beat Chelsea in tomorrow night's Champions League final.
"I've got a feeling it will be a very tight, cagey game, but we should come through. If we break through then the floodgates could open as hopefully they'll get desperate.
"Wayne Rooney is due something, Ronaldo has been phenomenal all season and Ryan Giggs, next to Bobby Charlton, is one of the two greatest ever United players."
Hucknall was tight-lipped about whether his friend, Sir Alex Ferguson, was feeling any pressure ahead of tomorrow night, revealing only that the United manager, who sees himself as a bit of a musician, was as terrible at singing as Hucknall was at football.
"He's always saying I'll never make it as a footballer because of my legs, and he'll never make it as a singer because of his voice," Hucknall said.
