Diego Simeone has urged Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti to shell out for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.

The former Inter midfielder, currently exploring coaching opportunities in Europe, was asked who he would recommended to Moratti for the summer market.

"To make a difference the player would have to be extraordinary," said Simeone. "Really, if I have to choose one, I would go for Mascherano, he can do everything and at the highest level."
