Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was bursting with pride as he spoke after victory over Champions League opponents Bayern Munich.
Simeone is taking Atleti to a second final in three years.
"We saw the best opponent I'd faced in a first half in which they had everything, good in the air, one on one; It was tremendous, wonderful, to see a team with continuity in the intensity of the game.
"I fell in love, we could not respond, but the reaction from the penalty that was stopped by Oblak was good.
"The second half was different, beyond the action of Carrasco. The team won duels, had transition from defense and attack, then came the goal and then the game offered the expected trend.
"The final moments were lovely for those who saw it on TV.
"Reaching the final beating out two of the three best in the world makes me very happy."
