Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone reserved high praise for Leicester City in the wake of tonight's Champions League quarter-final.
Los Rojiblancos drew 1-1 with the Foxes at the King Power Stadium in the second leg to advance to the semi-finals 2-1 on aggregate.
But it was no easy feat for Atleti to get past a plucky Leicester outfit which Simeone admitted to after the contest.
"I feel full of emotion and full of pride at the performance of my team and full of hope and excitement as we progress but what a great performance from Leicester tonight," said Simeone.
"It was a pleasure to play against them and we were living in fear all night and pushed all the way by them."
Saul Niguez scored the opening goal with a lovely header on 26 minutes before Jamie Vardy pulled one back for the Foxes just after the hour-mark.
