Simao Sabrosa shrugged off his heroics for Atletico Madrid after their amazing 4-4 draw with Villarreal.

Simao hit a double - including the final equaliser - to rescue a point for Atletico and possibly coach Javier Aguirre's job.

"I am a professional and here to help my team," said Simao. "My two goals helped to draw, but nothing more. I am just one more.

"In the end we showed pride and earned a point. We played for much of the game with a man less (Ever Banega) and gave everything to get this draw."
