Manchester City are chasing Valencia winger Juan Mata.
The People says City are preparing a second successive summer raid on Valencia, with Mata in their sights.
The Blues captured David Silva last June and may take advantage of the La Liga club's financial problems to move for Mata.
The 22-year-old is their biggest asset and, while he has a release clause of about £45million, sources close to the club say they will listen to offers around the £30m mark.
