Silva urges Hull reaction in wake of Fulham failure

Marco Silva has implored his Hull City players to react strongly to Sunday's FA Cup defeat to Fulham.

The Tigers were brushed aside 4-1 at Craven Cottage in the fourth round of the cup in what was an extremely disappointing day following up their 2-1 EFL Cup win over Manchester United on Thursday.

"It is not easy when we lost like we did today. Fulham deserved it," said Silva.

"We did not start well, we were out of focus.

"They started stronger, faster. Our concentration was not there at some moments, the first goal is a good example.

"We need a reaction. We will do our work, we lost this game and they deserved to win.

"Not everything is wrong. I will analyse the game with the players so we can prepare."

January signing Evandro headed home a 49th-minute leveller for Hull, after former Tigers Sone Aluko had put Fulham ahead before Chris Martin, Ryan Sessegnon and Stefan Johansen finished the job for the Londoners.
