David Silva says Manchester City's players will welcome back Carlos Tevez tomorrow at training.
The club captain, who was their top scorer last season as they won the FA Cup and qualified for the Champions League, requested a transfer earlier in the summer as he wants to be closer to his family.
But Silva is not giving up hope of Tevez staying, and he told The Sun: "Carlos has to return and that's great. He's a very important player for us.
"I don't think we'll have a problem. We know Carlos well. If he stays, great.
"There are a lot of competitions and we hope to play well in all of them. He would help that."
