David Silva remains hopeful Carlos Tevez will stay with Manchester City.
Tevez had said that he wanted to leave but coach Roberto Mancini has insisted that he will be at the club next season.
"I want Tevez to stay because he's a superb player, he has made such a difference to this team," said Silva.
"It was great to finish the season with a trophy and I hope we can win more next year. We need to keep improving and put ourselves alongside the big clubs."
