Manchester City midfielder David Silva insists they can still win the title.

Manager Roberto Mancini threw in the title towel after Wednesday's 4-0 win over West Brom - despite victory reducing United's lead and with the explosive Manchester derby still to come at the Etihad.

But Silva, 26, declared in The Sun: "It is still not impossible for us to win the title.

"Now we must depend on them making errors but they aren't superior to us."

City visit Norwich today and Silva knows only a win will do.

He added: "Norwich have been a revelation but we have to win every match left. We are still serious candidates and must fight for the title."
