Boss Marco Silva has insisted his focus is on keeping Hull in the Premier League rather than a new contract, reports Sky Sports.

The 39-year-old has sparked a remarkable turnaround in their fortunes, leading the Tigers on a superb run that has seen them win five of their past 10 matches and move out of the relegation zone.

"At this moment, the deal we have with our chairman, we have only one focus - to stay in the Premier League," Silva said ahead of Saturday's trip to Manchester City.

"This is most important and at the end of the season we will talk. But, for now, I have only one goal."

The Hull head coach admitted the future of his successful loan players is on the agenda, but secondary to their battle for survival.

"Of course it's important for my new signings to play well and I have been clear with them since they came here," Silva added.

"All of them are our players at this moment. What I want from them is hard work, to keep their focus and keep the club in the Premier League.

"We talk about the players' future, it is impossible we don't talk. We need to prepare the future of the club of course.

"I prepare with the meetings with the chairman, but, at this moment, it is not the most important.

"We need to keep our focus on playing well. We'll see if players will get contracts before the end of the season."
