Manchester City ace David Silva admits he's waging a personal battle with teammate Mario Balotelli at the Euros.

Madcap striker Balotelli, 21, has repeatedly sent his Etihad buddy texts saying that there will be no Silva lining when Italy meet Spain in the Gdansk Arena.

Playmaker Silva said: "Mario is a little different as a guy but he has told me, 'We are going to beat you, we are going to beat you'.

"I just said, 'We'll see'. But I guess we all just hope that it's a good game."
