The hype surrounding Manchester City midfielder David Silva is not about to burst according to first team coach David Platt.
The Spaniard has been irrepressible for City in the early stages of this season and is already being tipped to become the Footballer of the Year.
Platt admits the former Valencia man has been in stellar form but feels that it is just part and parcel of Silva's game.
"He is one exceptional player," said Platt.
"There is a long way to go in the season, there are a lot of very good players that are also doing well.
"But equally I would be very surprised if the consistency of his performances went down because we see it on a daily basis."
