Gylfi Sigurdsson is happy to be latest Icelander making it big at Tottenham.
Compatriot Gudni Bergsson also played for Spurs before moving onto Bolton Wanderers.
“Gudni was a centre half, so I didn’t look up to him that much!” Sigurdsson joked with the Telegraph. “I respect him for what’s he’s done. He’s a lawyer, very clever. Gudni does a football highlights programme, like Match of the Day. I looked up to Eidur Gudjohnsen; he was doing very well at Bolton, Chelsea and here at Spurs.
"I’ve always looked up to Frank Lampard. He’s scored a couple of goals from midfield in the last 10 years! He’s unbelievable. His goalscoring record is phenomenal.”
