Sigurdsson frustrated by Spurs draw at Chelsea

Tottenham midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson admitted frustration after their draw with Chelsea.

Sigurdsson concedes it was a fair result.

He told talkSPORT: "We knew we needed three points today to keep it in our own hands and we gave it our all but it wasn't to be. I think at the end 2-2 is a fair result.

"We could have nicked it at the end but Chelsea had a few chances as well so I think it was a fair draw.

"I think it [the result] shows the character of the team. We never give up. We can score two goals in five minutes. We've got those kinds of players [who can do that].

"We've got to win the next game [against Stoke] now and then we've got Sunderland. We've got to make sure we get six points from that and hopefully it will be enough.

"We've got to do our part and then hopefully someone else will slip up."
