Gylfi Sigurdsson is hoping for a better season at Tottenham next term.
Iceland ace Sigurdsson concedes his own performances were also not consistent enough after joining Tottenham from Hoffenheim last summer.
He said: "There were two halves to my season. I didn't really enjoy the first half but in the second half I settled in a lot more.
"It could have been a great season if we'd have qualified for the Champions League but that's the way it is.
"I didn't score many goals before Christmas but then things changed a little bit.
"Hopefully, I can continue that going into next season."
