Siena president Pier Luigi Fabrizi insists coach Andrea Mandorlini's job is safe.

"We have total faith in our Coach because he needs to be judged in terms of various factors and not just results," Fabrizi told Antenna Radio Esse.

"There is too much panic in the squad and we need the players to stay calm. The Press silence is so that nobody says anything they might regret."

An official statement from the club reinforced Fabrizi's message and further clarified the situation.

"From the end of the game against Cagliari, Siena have undertaken a policy of silence lasting for a week," it read.

"The purpose of this is to draw attention to several situations in the last few games where refereeing decisions have damaged the club.

"Fabrizi and director Giovanni Lombardi will be the only representatives to speak out of courtesy."
