Siena sporting director Stefano Antonelli has shrugged off missing out on Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner in the summer.
Siena were on the verge of signing Bendtner, before Juventus swooped with just two days of the transfer window remaining.
"I admit that we had reached an agreement, but, when Juventus got involved, we knew that the player would be set to choose them instead," Antonelli told Tutto Juve.
"He would have had an important role here, more so than in Turin when you consider the competition that he faces in attack.
"However, we understood why he opted to join Juve rather than us."
