Sidwell warns Fulham against table complacency

Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell admits they must be wary of their points tally.

Sidwell concedes they could still be sucked into the relegation battle.

"You look at the table and we're lying in a comfortable position but when you look at the points, it's unreal," Sidwell told fulhamfc.com. "I've never seen anything like it before. It means a lot when you come in after a hard-fought game and you look at the league table and see how everyone got on. It's the final run-in now so we've got to kick on and pick up as many points as we can.

"Back-to-back wins in this league are massive because so many teams are inconsistent at the moment. If you can string two wins together it really shoots you up the table. We really want to get the points on the board as early as we can - you don't want to go into the final few games looking for points because that's when it starts getting hard."
