Steve Sidwell will open fresh contract negotiations with Fulham according to reports.
The 31-year old midfielder is out of contract this summer but the Cottagers are determined to keep him in southwest London following their relegation from the Premier League.
Fulham learned their fate on the weekend after losing 4-1 to Stoke City and are now looking to tie a number of players down ahead of the summer.
The Mirror suggests that Sidwell rejected a 12-month contract extension late last year and is after a two-year deal if he is to remain at Craven Cottage.
