Aston Villa midfielder Steve Sidwell is grateful for the support he's received from teammates after his gaffe against Middlesbrough on Sunday.
He told AVTVi: "The lads have been terrific. But that's what I'd expect because we are a close team - good friends on and off the pitch.
"They have been as I would have acted with them. They have said it's not a problem and that they are sure that I will do a good job for the team. That's all I could ask for.
"We have a great team spirit and a super mentality. We know how to win games.
"We have the skill and talent needed but we also have that heart and desire to battle too. I feel we have both elements in this squad. You need both to succeed."
