New signing Steve Sidwell believes Chelsea have got what it takes to reclaim the Premier League title from Manchester United.

The midfielder, a free transfer summer signing from Reading, told Sky Sports News: "With the team we've got we'll push United all the way.

"We put in a good performance in the Community Shield and that's what is key in pre-season.

"It's about making sure the performances and fitness are there for the start of the season.

"The boss is happy with everyone at the moment so we'll go into the Birmingham game on Saturday with confidence and looking for the three points."
