Liverpool midfielder Lucas is still boosting his teammates - even while sidelined.

Lucas tweeted his praise of Jonjo Shelvey for his performance in victory at Norwich City on Saturday.

Shelvey told liverpoolfc.tv: "I didn't see it at first before someone re-tweeted it. It's nice when someone like Lucas gives you that little bit of extra support. I have always admired him as a player and look up to him.

"It just gives you that little boost of confidence and it's nice that he did that."
