Valenciennes midfielder Siaka Tiene has welcomed talk of interest from Sunderland and Wigan Athletic.
"I have always dreamt of playing in the Premier League," he said.
"It is the best league in the world and I want to go and play there. I would like to go there if an agreement can be reached with my club.
"However, if I don't leave it would not be a disaster. It would, though, be fantastic for my career to play in England."
Asked about rumours suggesting he could be on his way to Sunderland, Tiene said: "It is all still speculation at the moment, there is nothing definite.
"That means I cannot comment on that directly. Let's just say if a club want me, they have to make an offer to my club and speak to my advisers in England."
