Shrewsbury Town boss Micky Mellon was proud of his squad after they bowed out to Manchester United in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The League One club lost 3-0 at New Meadow on Monday night to see their time in the cup finished by Louis van Gaal's Premier League outfit.
The Salop beat Championship clubs Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday to reach the fifth stage of the famous competition and that was enough to celebrate according to Mellon.
"First and foremost the quality of Manchester United was fantastic," he said.
"I couldn't have asked any more of the players.
"I haven't seen any of the goals back. But we've got to come away and say we've had a fantastic cup run.
"We gave it everything. The players can hold their heads high."
