Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey believes a lack of money to spend by club's could stop the Midlanders moving on the likes of strikers Andy Keogh and Leigh Griffiths who are both currently out on loan.
"Outside of the really big clubs, I think we're seeing already the fact that not much money's going to be spent. I think it's a reflection of the economy generally."
But Moxey is confident that Wolves themselves will be able to attract players to the Black Country during the January transfer window, adding: "We're hoping we can sign more players." "Apart from the really big clubs, no-one seems to have any money," said Moxey. "The message we're getting is that there is very little money around in the marketplace.
