Reading fullback Nicky Shorey would like to see Eamonn Dolan handed the fulltime manager's job.

Shorey admits he has enjoyed working under Dolan and would be happy to see him remain in charge at the Madejski Stadium.

"It's not down to me, but I've enjoyed working with Eamonn," Shorey told The Sun.

"Whatever the decision the owner makes will be fine with us and we will get on with it.

"We had a good week with Eamonn and we'll work for him for however long it will be."
