West Bromwich Albion fullback Nicky Shorey was impressed by their young players on tour of the USA.
Baggies Academy products George Thorne, Sam Mantom, Paul Downing and Chris Wood were all part of the 26-man squad for the fortnight-long training camp Stateside.
"We've got some good young players coming through," the 30-year-old left-back told the WBA website.
"That's hopefully the next generation for West Brom. They've all got good attitudes and they're all good footballers in their own right.
"Hopefully this experience will only help them in their careers.
"I think it is a good thing to get the youngsters integrated into the first team with the senior players. They've all got their different qualities and they've all impressed me in the way they conduct themselves with the senior players.
"They're very respectful but they're not over-awed.
"They mix in well and I think that is credit to the coaching staff who have worked with them.
"They have shown them the right ways on and off the pitch."
