Shola Ameobi believes kid brother Samuel, 16, can follow him into the Newcastle United first team.

Shola told the Evening Chronicle: "He's a very talented player. He's got a lot of developing to do, obviously, but he's got a lot of skill.

"He's a big guy - I think he's bigger than me now - and when he fills out, he'll be a great player, hopefully for Newcastle.

"He's doing very well at the moment, and he just has to keep going, and hopefully he'll get his chance."
