Shilton: Man City keeper Hart no longer England's No1

England legend Peter Shilton says Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart can no longer be considered the outright No1.

Shilton wrote for the Daily Star: "Joe wasn't overworked yet made two bad mistakes in four games, which isn't acceptable.

"The mistakes I'm referring to led to goals – the Gareth Bale free-kick and the second against Iceland.

"All goalkeepers make mistakes but to make two so costly at that level in such a short space of time is alarming. He is not as good as some people think he is.

"I judge a goalkeeper on the amount of mistakes he makes in a season. He makes some brilliant saves but he also makes a lot of errors.

"The new England manager may now feel there should be genuine competition with Fraser Forster and Jack Butland (when he is fit again) in the wings.

"Joe should no longer be an automatic selection."
