England record holder Peter Shilton says the players in the Leicester City squad have the opportunity to become heroes for life.
The Foxes are in a commanding position in the race for the Premier League title as they sit three points clear of Manchester City after 24 matches.
This weekend, they take on City in a top-of-the-table clash and although he admits it will be a difficult task, former goalkeeper Shilton has backed them in to continue their amazing run and etch their names into the record books.
He said in an interview with Sky Sports: "It's not a fluke to get this far, but I think this will be the hard time for the players now.
"Every game will be a cup final for them and there will be so much focus on them.
"Even if they lose the game, they will still be on level points with City so they can afford to have a go.
"A draw would be a great result for them but can you imagine if they won? Then the gap would be six points and that would take some catching."
Former goalkeeper Shilton added: "They'd be heroes for life.
"It would be such an incredible achievement, I really hope they can go on and do it. But even getting into the Champions League would be fantastic. It's amazing what they have done, so let's hope the miracle can happen."
