Shilton: Foster England return good for Man City keeper Hart

England goalkeeper legend Peter Shilton feels West Bromwich Albion shot-stopper Ben Foster can put pressure on England No1 Joe Hart.

Shilton, who holds the England record for most caps with 125 appearances, was not impressed with Foster's initial decision to jack it in.

But he warned Manchester City's Hart: "Roy Hodgson has come in, Joe Hart has not quite reached the heights he hit last season and maybe Ben knows he might get a chance to establish himself as No1.

"It's got to be good for Joe as he'll get pressure and realise he'll have to be ultra-consistent which will benefit England."
