Shift from Upton Park to London Stadium like moving into a mansion - West Ham boss Bilic

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that the club's summer move to the London Stadium was partly responsible for his side's struggles in the first half of the season.

The Croatian manager described the Hammers' move from Upton Park to the olympic Stadium as moving from a tiny house to a big mansion.

“It takes time when you move house,' Bilic said in an interview with the Daily Mail.

“When you move from a tiny house to a big mansion, OK, it's a better house but you need to find out things.

“First, family inside, suddenly you are not close. Your daughter is watching television in her bedroom. Not to mention you have to learn the ropes: school, friends, everything.

“It makes no sense to try to compare with the Boleyn Ground because it is incomparable."
