Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels is expected to sign a new contract with the club today.
The Killie boss was attracting plenty of interest from clubs in England, including Bournemouth, but has remained committed to the Rugby Park cause the whole way through and will get his reward in the form of a two-year deal.
Shiels, who arrived at Killie in June 2010 as Mixu Paatelainen's assistant, led the club to League Cup glory this season and will now stay on at the helm after taking the reins from the Finland national team boss in April 2011.
