Dean Shiels is expected to quit Hibs in January after seeing his appearances in the first team restricted this season, according to The Scottish Sun.

The 22 year old has only started two games this term and will be allowed to move on next month if he finds a suitable club.

Both Aberdeen and Inverness Caley Thistle attempted to sign the Irishman during the last transfer window and are expected to renew their interest in January.
