Hibs striker Dean Shiels has admitted that he would have left Easter Road had John Collins still been in charge.

The 22 year old had only started twice under Collins this season but featured in the first team squad in Saturday's defeat to Rangers.

"If Collins had still been here I'd be leaving. He told me that himself. It was nothing personal, just a case of different opinions. But football is a strange game - one minute you a re almost out the door and the next you're playing."
