Former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko feels Cristiano Ronaldo should reject a return to Manchester United.

Shevchenko has told the Portuguese to stay with Real and work with new coach Carlo Ancelotti, who he knows from his time with AC Milan.

"I do not know why Ronaldo would want to leave," said Shevchenko. "Everyone would love to play for Real Madrid. I think you can not get much better in your career."
