Shevchenko first to duck out of Chelsea

Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko may struggle to be available for their Champions League clash with Valencia.

The Daily Express says Shevchenko, substituted after just 53 minutes after another dreadful performance against Fulham, was the first player out of the dressing room, clutching a suitcase.

It was the Ukrainian's 31st birthday on Saturday and it was rumoured that he was flying to Milan for a celebration - hardly the best preparation for an important game in Spain three days later.

Shevchenko was even booed by the Chelsea fans at one point in yet another dismal outing for the £30million star.
